Fusion, quantum and founder pitches take the stage at Launch Wisconsin
Why build, move or grow a frontier technology company in Wisconsin?
Launch Wisconsin will open with a conversation featuring Derek Sutherland, chief scientific officer of Realta Fusion and Mark Saffman, chief scientist for quantum information at Infleqtion and a UW-Madison physics professor.
The discussion comes at an exciting time for both companies. Realta Fusion recently committed to Madison as the home of its new headquarters and fusion research and development hub following a national search, while Infleqtion, a quantum technology company with roots in UW-Madison research, went public earlier this year. Sutherland and Saffman will talk about Wisconsin’s strengths in research, talent and industry, and what the state can do to attract, build and grow more frontier technology companies.
This panel is sponsored by EUA.
Founders will also have a chance to take the mic.
After lunch and networking, entrepreneurs can give a two-minute pitch to the Launch Wisconsin crowd. Spots will be available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the conference, so there’s no need to sign up ahead of time. Introduce your company, share what you’re building and make new connections at the conference. No slides or long presentation is needed; just two minutes to tell the room about your company. Founders can attend Launch Wisconsin for free.
Launch Wisconsin takes place Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Marquette University in Milwaukee. Learn more and register here.
