MKE Startup News: Startup antimattr brings voice AI hardware to Wisconsin

When Sridipto Ghosh and Sirsho Chakraborty spent months building voice-based artificial intelligence software, they discovered the technology had an unexpected limitation.

The AI worked. But the environment didn’t.

Whether in airports, coffee shops or other busy public spaces, background noise often made voice interactions unreliable, creating a barrier to using voice-based technology in everyday settings.

That realization led the childhood friends to launch antimattr in 2025. The India-based startup is developing project Mnemosyne, wearable hardware designed to make voice interactions more practical. Its platform combines voice-isolation earbuds equipped with six microphones and bone-conduction technology with a companion smart ring that can record, transcribe and summarize conversations while capturing spoken notes.
