MKE Startup News: Six Wisconsin startups selected for inaugural gBETA Frontier Technology accelerator
Six Wisconsin startups developing technologies ranging from quantum computing and semiconductors to advanced materials and medical devices have been selected for the inaugural gBETA Frontier Technology accelerator.
Operated by gener8tor in partnership with the Wisconsin Frontier Technology Consortium, the free seven-week accelerator is designed to help early-stage companies refine their business models, connect with mentors, gain customer traction and prepare for future investment opportunities. The program is supported through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.’s Ignite initiative.
The accelerator is one of several initiatives launched through the Wisconsin Frontier Technology Consortium, which was created to help commercialize frontier technologies developed in Wisconsin. Led by the Wisconsin Technology Council, the consortium brings together research universities, startup accelerators, technical colleges and industry partners to help move emerging technologies from the laboratory into the marketplace.
