MKE Startup News: Five international startups selected for Accelerate Wisconsin
Five international startups from Mexico, Brazil, Kenya and Indonesia have been selected for the fall 2026 gBETA Milwaukee accelerator, part of Wisconsin’s ongoing effort to attract high-growth companies from around the world.
The seven-week program, operated by gener8tor in partnership with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), is part of the Accelerate Wisconsin initiative, which encourages international startups to establish U.S. operations in Wisconsin.
The free, non-equity accelerator provides founders with individualized coaching, mentorship and introductions to potential customers, corporate partners and investors.
The new cohort marks the fifth accelerator group supported through Accelerate Wisconsin. The previous Milwaukee cohort, announced in July, included five international companies developing technologies ranging from enterprise AI to sustainable packaging.
