The most challenging aspect is learning patience and recognizing that I can’t control other people’s decisions. Business development is often viewed as networking, but at its core it’s about building trust, developing meaningful relationships, understanding complex organizational challenges, and finding ways to create value over time. You can show up prepared, work hard and invest in relationships, but ultimately you can’t force outcomes.
The most rewarding part is helping shape and execute strategies that strengthen both our firm and the community we serve.
