BizTimes: UWM gets $6 million grant to turn research into real-world applications

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has received a four-year, $6 million grant from the National Science Foundation to rethink how research discoveries move from university laboratories into the marketplace. The initiative, called TRANSLATE, will focus on building stronger connections between UWM researchers, businesses, community organizations and other potential partners.
