Founders of three web-based startups, Offermation, Shindig and UConnect, will share stories about the evolution of their companies at the Thursday, April 12 meeting of the Wisconsin Innovation Network in Milwaukee.

The luncheon will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 10499 Innovation Drive, Wauwatosa.  Registration and networking begins at 11:30 a.m., lunch at noon and the presentation at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for students, $25 for WIN members, Governor’s Business Plan Contest participants and Milwaukee County Research Park tenants, $35 for non-members and included with WIN corporate memberships.

Dan Vilione of Offermation, Brendon Thomas of Shindig and Matt Howard of UConnect will discuss how they transformed their ideas into businesses and the resources that have helped them along the way.

Offermation is a Milwaukee-based startup that connects businesses with online publishers through a platform that allows businesses to create deals, set their own prices and discount terms. Shindig is a Milwaukee-based music tech startup that aims to revolutionize the live music scene by giving fans of bands and artists the power to book them at their desired venues. UConnect is a Madison-based startup providing a free, simple way for customers to place food delivery orders online.  UConnect operates in Madison as BadgerBites.com and in Milwaukee as BrewCityBites.com.

WIN is the membership arm of the Wisconsin Technology Council, the independent, non-profit science and technology adviser to the governor and the Legislature.
