Jeff Wacker is a Director of Strategy for EDS, an EDS Fellow and Futurist. The title of EDS Fellow is awarded to the corporation’s most innovative thought leaders in recognition of their exceptional achievements. As a Director of Strategy for EDS, Wacker is responsible for the future goals for EDS through innovative and market-leading strategies.
Wacker is an information technology focused futurist and is a long-time professional member of the World Futurists Society. He has delivered keynote addesses, speeches and workshops across the world. As he is known for specializing in the energy, consumer industries and retail, transportation, financial services industries, Wacker is a contributor to and often quoted in major business, technical and industry publications. He has been the focus of an NBC news segment on future technologies and has appeared on all major U.S. networks as well as internationally.
Wacker’s “IT3+” presentation on the future of IT more than three years into the future is requested across the globe for corporations and government entities on the usage of emerging technologies as a means of identifying, creating and sustaining competitive advantage.

Mark Lee is the director of special projects at Affiliated Engineers, Inc. He has a unique background in program management, research and education gained through his career as an astronaut with NASA and a pilot and engineer with the U.S. Air Force. As an astronaut, Lee circled the globe 517 times during four shuttle missions and spent 33 days in space. He was one of only eight astronauts to walk in space, untethered, with a jet pack. He was also part of the crew that repaired the Hubble Space Telescope, and also helped deploy the Magellan Venus probe in 1989.
Virocqua native Lee currently manages several projects for Affiliated Engineers, INC. (AEI), including overseeing the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery, amulet-disciplinary research complex to be located on the UW-Madison campus. He also hopes to bring his unique experience to AEI’s Gainesville, Fla., office, which has a contract with the Kennedy Space Center.
