Joe Kremer, director of the Wisconsin Angel Network, will discuss trends in the angel investment market – and how those developments may affect entrepreneurs – at the Thursday, Aug. 13 luncheon meeting of the Wisconsin Innovation Network in Milwaukee.
The meeting will be held at Brookfield Suites Hotel and Convention Center, 1200 S. Moorland Road, just off I-94 in Brookfield. Registration and networking begins at 11:30 a.m., lunch at noon and the presentation at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for students, $25 for WIN members, $35 for non-members and included with WIN corporate memberships.
Kremer’s presentation will illustrate worldwide trends in early stage investments as well as current developments in Wisconsin. A successful entrepreneur himself, Kremer will share personal insights on trends in the worldwide angel investing market, and describe how the market has been affected by the economy. He will also talk about ways entrepreneurs can connect with investors through WAN and two upcoming events, the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium and the MidAmerica Healthcare Venture Forum.
The Wisconsin Angel Network builds early stage capital capacity throughout Wisconsin, increasing the number and amount of equity investments in Wisconsin’s entrepreneurs. WAN, a project of the Wisconsin Technology Council, was founded in January 2005 as an umbrella organization providing services and resources to the early stage investing community.
